Yes, I really need your help to decide which logo looks perfect for our design firm called Innov8 with a tagline: “Infinite design possibilities”. This is also my entry for the logo design project at school. So guys I hope you’re kind enough to check the six variants of the logo here and help me choose which is which.
+ Logo #1
+ Logo #2
+ Logo #3
+ Logo #4
+ Logo #5
+ Logo #6
That’s all and thanks in advance!

Hi Charles. I was going to say #1 and then #3 but with the 8 in magenta, but then I got the vanity license plate language (cool!) and I think that is such a good name that I wouldn’t want people to have to work to read it, so I’d say #4 or #6 with magenta wings.
#4 without doubt !
Is that INNOvation? Reminds me of college, we use “8″ for that last syllable, ‘presenta-8′. You know me for the simplicity, I’d pick #4 but then again, there’s no originality, the wings (multicolor) is cool yet it symbolizes “Medicine” which is something “bad” if you’ve seen the movie Final Destination, haha. OK, I’d pick #4, just use lowercase for the initial “I”.
It’s Innovate but with an 8 in the end. Actually if you look closer at number 5 or 6 it looks like a clown. Anyway, I made 2 and ended with the last one which I will post in my next entry.
Yee, I just noticed, a clown with a goatee, or a bowtie. Cute.
My faves are #1 and #5.
hi, charles….i LOVE them all, but i especially love 1 and 6.
This is so difficult.
All are nice.
All are catchy.
Maybe I like things too simple.
But simple isn’t bad.
I’ll go for 4.
#1 or #6…My reasons are these…#4 is expected….so that is out fior me—#3 is better, but still more expected than not. If you want to be safe but just a little different than #3 is the one…BUT…..I really like #1 because it is INNOV8IVE as is #6. But you must decide just how far out of the box you want to be, my dear……I don’t mind that #1 isn’t immeduately recognizable–I like fihuring it out!
BTW: I have Part 2 of The Bel Air Hotel just posted, if you get a chance!
“FIGURING” it out! My finger slipped up, but good! (lol)
#4 screams of professional design.
I love that the mostest
#4 is the best one. The second choice is #3 but with yellow made into something less flashy – my eyes hurt…
I would say #3 and #4, the rest is a bit irritating haha!!! Hope it could help.^_^
I’d go for LOGO 3.Ü
It looks strong and determined to me, like it knows what it wants.
I like 3 & 4 but I just have a thing for simple, clean designs. They all look good though.
Very striking and original: number 7. LOL. I’d go for number 4. Number 1 and 2 look all set to leave the page- for a party maybe? Number 3 looks like it’s psyching itself for a dunk maybe? Okay enough, number 4 then. “,)
#3 gets my vote for sherrr.
so hard to choose a favorite, dear! i like them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope I am not too late for this. I like #1 and #6. (I like all, and it was tough to choose one, but my vote for these two).
#4 is quite simple and attractive (would look better with ‘i’, as mentioned in a comment above), but since it is innovation that we are talking about, I thought we should go for a little more fancy one.
#3…
I like #4 … I betcha Netchick likes it too
Scrolling up and down, up and down, its hard to decide. I end up with #1 however (like the yellow better than the pink which more reminded me of the pink panther). The yellow one made me think of an innovating eye.
Good luck with your project and while you at it: Have a great weekend
I like # 6
Best wishes to you, sugar!
I love No 6…it appeals to the eye.
I’m voting for no. 4 chase! It’s neat & clean.Very straightforward design that I usually prefer.
Musta na chase? Goodluck to you on this one! tlc!
Hello Ms. Cheh! I am doing fine but quite busy juggling between school, being a homemaker and work. How about you?
#3 I think.
# 4 is the best, professional and simple!! the best !
I like 3 and 4 the best, but only because they’re clean and instantly readable. The others are also cool, but maybe not as easy for your audiences to read?
Hey Charles, I think #4 because it’s classy. But then, I like #3, but maybe a red ‘8′ or outlined in red.
I guess it all depends on what kind of impression you’re going for. I like 4 because it’s looks confident and capable.
I don’t like 5 or 6, I don’t see the point of the wings. Plus I think the whole logo takes up too much space.
I like the simplicity of 4, but perhaps the 8 could be in a different colour, or emphasised a little more.
The giant 8s in 1 and 2 are a bit overwhelming and remind me of sunglasses.
Actually, they’re not wings but a clown’s hair. If you look closer it clearly resembles a clown’s face or a bird as some pointed out. Number 1 and 2 are made to look like sunglasses which is quite innovative really. Anyway, I made two more based upon this survey. I will post them on my next entry and thank you very much for the input!
Now that you have told me, I can see the clown hair! Pretty clever. But unless you are starting an innovative clown business, I think you should stick to something less elaborate!!
# 5 and 6 have a laying 8, that can be intepreted like “Endless” – like uses in maths
# 4 is most easy to use on letterheads, invoices and on web-sides
# 3 may be better if you turn it 180 degress
#1 and 2 – I see the idea, which are really great, see new things with new glasses.
— I would prefere you use blue (with some ideas of white, thin cloudes): What’s out in the blues?
— Or may be Spring Green: What will this Summer bring us? And Green is in.
— You also have the opportunity to change the colours in the glasses to the 4 Seasons.
— You should choose another fonttype. To give you an idea, look at the logo here:

Good luck.
btw. If you like glass-paintings, then visit my post of today.
either #1 or #4
but simple is nice and easy to put wherever so I’ll go for 4
i’ll go for #4. simplicity
Hey, as i observed the comments, i say all is left to do is collecting the votes to decide the final Logo, for me i go with #6# cuz i love colors, one last thing, since you are a designer, i have a musical blog with very bad banner/logo, i don’t know ….. if you have time….it’s just two words “Music Routes”, my blog is :musicroutes.blogspot.com.
waiting your reply
BEST LUCK
#4 Works the best. Clean, simple and to the point. It really stands apart from the other choices, it just radiates cool.
Hi Chase.
I like logos 1, 3 and 5. It is hard for me to choose among the three because all of them are really nice!
All of them are cool but I like 3 best because it is clean and simple. Not too extravagant but just a touch of class – from my own views.
Tough choice since all of them are very creative. Hm….
If choosing between #1 and 2, I prefer #1. It’s more noticable.
#3 need to have other colors instead of the yellow 8 if I shall notice it – or make it horisontal. I find it more difficult to read and therefor to see.
I think #4 wins but with some color on the 8. Somehow it’s kinda sticky in my vision. Easy to remember.
#5 and 6 is very creative and fun with the clown look, but they feel too big and too difficult to stuck in my mind like I want a logo to do
I actually like the last one most except that the 8 may be misconstrued as an infinity sign? But that’s just me. lol. (my inner geek and all that)
all of them are great.
choose the one that makes you go “wow, that’s innovative” the most. hehe!
I say #1. not to flashy, just downright straightforward.
What a valuable information. Really help, I’m a new comer in blogging. Thank you.
