I am out of words as of this moment. Instead I´ll just show you guys three photos that I like from the hundred that I took for my recent class project.
+ It’s overexposed but nevertheless it created a lovely effect. I just love how her face conveyed something and not to mention the beautiful alabaster skin
+ An insect I saw on the other side of the glass window in my father’s house.
+ The shape of the clouds that formed on the top of that mountain was fascinating.
I hope you guys like the pictures. By the way, for those who can or understand Norwegian please do check my other blog here.
That’s all.

I will always be thankful to all the people who paved way for the invention of the camera.Ü In it’s stage of almost perfection right now, I am still amazed at the images that people capture through this little powerful gadget.

For a sec, I thought the second image was a spidey and then I counted the legs + read your caption .. yup, it was an insect. Such long legs, I can almost feel it crawling on my skin. Thanks for sharing your photos Charles; I look forward to seeing more
I will take more photos soon when I have time to spare. I am honestly swamped with work and projects.
I also thought the same thing when I first saw it on the window. I don’t really know the English name of that insect. I’ll ask my father later.
Very interesting pictures, Chas….Each one has a “special” quality to it….You are doing wonderful work, my dear!
Thank you so much Naomi! It means a lot coming from you.
I love your photos, Charles, especially the one of the young lady…that has so much character and, as you say, shows her beautiful skin to perfection. Fabulous!
Thank you Robyn! I am actually surprised when I saw this photo after I downloaded it from my camera. Her expression exudes mystery and the effect somewhat enhanced the dramatic feel to it.
I like the first photo best. I really like the stripes on her shirt, they contrast nicely with the lines in the building to the left and the windows to the right, and I also like the way she is standing on the crack between the two sidewalk slabs, it seems significant somehow.
Thanks Shammy. Yes, I just love the contrast between the black and white. Also the overexposed effect which happened to be a mistake at first turned this photo more dramatic.
I like the girl.
Likely you are thinking that that is what you would have expected from a traditional middle aged heterosexual like myself.
But apart from the fact that she is good looking, I like the slight high key effect.
I also like the matter of fact way she is standing there as if she is making a statement.
Me too. I just approached this beautiful girl on the street and ask her if I can take a photo of her for my project. I told her she was stylish and I am so happy that she agreed to have her photo taken even though she was on a hurry.
Where were you exactly on the last photo? Were you bungee jumping? I like to feel the scenery in 360 degree view like that.
Happy Weekend Charles.
Hello K! I was on the balcony at my fathers house. His house is located on top of a hill overlooking a nice lake and yes these mountains.
The mountains look just like they do here in our area actually. I’ve had a hard time photographing and posting lately so you are still doing better than me!
Oh that’s quite nice. It’s mountainous here in the western part of Norway. Actually, I am also having photographing lately due to bad weather and I am swamped with projects.
I like the first one with the nice girl you photographed! I am sure Mélissa my daughter will love it if I show it to her and I will! This mosquitos with back plan is very interesting !!!!
Thank you Claudie. That photo holds a special place in my heart. I just love the entire. I’ll find that girl around town and gave her a copy.
I love the black and white stripes. The white fading into white. Great bug shot! Netchicking.
Thanks Colleen!
chase, they’re great captures! <3
i’m sure you’re enjoying photography now, more than ever!
Oh yeah! And thanks dear!
Nice images !
Keep taking them & share them with us !
Thank you and yes I will!
I like the shot of the girl a lot, it could work as a spread in a fashion magazine!
Thanks Evol Kween. That’s what I have in mind as well!
Beautiful photo, all three of them Charles – a very different character and types. I like the last one the best: You’ve captured the natural atmosphere so well – congrats with the result of your assignment!
Thank you Renny! The last one gives an impression that one took this photo high up or even flying.
Yes, that overexposed photo is interesting in another way than the other ones. Therefor I love that one the best. She melts in.
Way to go with your assignment!
Yes, I just love photo assignments to be honest. Indeed, the first picture is just interesting.
Charles, you are pro enough to take this:
1. Except for the bus on the right side, it’s allmost perfect.
2. I know it’s difficult to make perfect photos of insects. The bottom is a bit disturbing. The top is fascinating.
3. Allmost perfect. Maybe some harder contrast or a bit mor cropping?

About politics. I have friends in all political parties (Except SP, which is a not a real political party but rather an organisation for the interests of conserving farmers) and have been more than interested since the early 1960ies.
Thanks Tor!
1. This photo was taken in a hurry since I personally don’t know this beautiful lady. I am just thankful that she allowed me to take a photo of her even though she was in a hurry.
2. I agree but this is the only photo that showed the insect in a great detail. The others were a bit blurry.
3. I was thinking the same thing and I tried it but it made the image darker. So I decided to do nothing but I like it
Regarding with politics, I don’t need to argue anymore. I already said my piece and I stick to my political beliefs. You have yours and I respect that. Discussing politics is like discussing religion. It’s never-ending.
And my friend you’re wrong regarding SP or Senterpartiet. Of course, they are a real political party. That’s why they’ve changed their name from Bondepartiet to Senterpartiet since they cater not just farmers but everyone who share their beliefs and political aspirations.
Chas! Yup, it’s been a while, but I’ve been lurking in your blog….I enjoy your posts as usual, and am very happy with the updates. btw, COngrats on your wedding!! You and Odd make a very beautiful couple
.
Thank you so much Ms.Rhada!
Hi Charles…I wanted to say that the two shows you mentioned on my blog FALCOMS CREST and the other one…Were Night Time Shows only on Once a week, for maybe 22 or 26 weeks out of the year, and they were filmed….The Soaps are on 5 days a week every week, 52 weeks a year, and they are on tape—no retakes, etc…A tough Gig! (lol)
Oh my that’s a tough gig indeed. I didn’t know about that and thank you very much for sharing this. I know something new each day!
I love the first picture–essentially a black and white picture except for her lips and the leaves. The various building patterns and her stripes work incredibly well together.
That top photo may be over-exposed, but you’re right to pick it… There’s just something about it that makes it’s great. I love the effect
Nice pics!
Wish I had a camera. I have yet to get myself one.
