...HERE!

Mundane23.07.09

After breakfast, Odd and I normally hang out on the balcony to bask under the early sunshine. With a cup of hot tea on hand I pratted away while Odd was preoccupied reading the newspaper.

I usually blabber stuff about how fat I look which drives him nuts. I know that I tend to do that because I am so insecure about myself. It’s weird that how much I lost a lot of weight I still see a fat person looking back at me everytime I faced the mirror. But I am slowly working on it to change how I perceived myself.

Then Odd looked at me and said with a faint smile “My dear you’re always beautiful.”

“You’re just saying that because you’re my husband,” I retorted with a pout on my lips.

“Here we go again,” he said with a perturbed look on his face. “I am telling you that you’re beautiful not because that I love you but for the fact that it’s true.”

I smiled. He stood up when he saw that and kissed me on the lips.

“Let’s go to the shower,” he whispered in my ear. “Since I am going to work and you’re meeting your father in the city before he travels to the north,” he added.

“Oh,” I checked my mobile phone in my pocket for the time. “You’re right. I almost forgot.”

I met my father in the city while Odd was at work. We had lunch and took a tour on top of Fløyen. The view from the top is so breathtaking especially in a nice summer weather. So I took a snap with my Nokia 5800 since I forgot to bring a camera.

Bergen is a stunning city and very picturesque. It’s the only place where I feel patriotic and proud to call my home. This is the city where my father was born though he now lives on the countryside which is a thirty-minute drive away.

We hiked back down to the city’s main street. By the time we’re back, Odd was already done with his work which was quite convenient. So we bid farewell to my father as we went back home to change for gym.

We trained at Elexia which is a very nice gym and it is not far from where we live. It’s just a fifteen-minute walk. We stayed there working out for an hour and a half. I usually train five to six times a week while Odd does three due to his busy schedule. I just hope that I will still manage to train normally when I am back at school and working part-time.

“The road to good health is such a hell,” I told Odd as we hauled our tired asses back home. He just nodded as he looked at me with those beautiful green eyes. I sighed.

Back at home we made some light dinner but not after fooling around a bit. *wink*

That’s all.

  1. You and Odd have a good time together, don’t you? YOU ARE NOT FAT!!!!! I do understand when you have been fat that no matter how thin you get, YOU still see a fat person…BUT, eventually you will see a THIN person…..Now, I’ve gone back the other way….I got used to seeing a thin person and NOW, I really am fat and it’s taken me a while to actually SEE that I am now truly waaaaay overweight!
But you? You look as light as a feather, to me, my dear…..! (lol)

HOTNESS – for the shirtless shot.

COOLNESS – enjoying coffee on a balcony (look at Odd’s shirt, it speaks for itself)

STUNNING – the view how captivating.

    HEALTHINESS – Gym.. ohnoes.

WINKNESS (no such word, haha) – what can I say? Except that that you still manage to keep your slipper on while you’re on top of the sink. Suddenly, I’m feeling better haha.

Dear Chase – the fact that you’ve shown your half naked body means that you have confident in yourself, which is important. And the last photo… gosh, is there really you and Odd? lol

I’m now sort of settle down with my new house and so I think I will try to cook something new soon. After that, I’ll come back to my blog.

Great photos! The one of you two together is very sweet. Reminds me of some of the Japanese Yaoi comics I randomly get obsessed with.

  30. Alisa sier:

Wow! I think the lens on that last photo fogged a little with that scene! You’re gorgeous and don’t think otherwise!

  31. jan sier:

Are you kidding me? That’s not fat. It’s just you fishing for a compliment, I think. :)

Woo-hoo. That’s a hot picture, the last one. Why is it I think of Fatal Attraction when looking at your kitchen scene? Is that even right? Maybe it’s more like Postman Always Rings Twice? It’s mundane – you’re right about that. But it’s in the common, everyday shared moments with loved ones that utterly make our heart swell with gratitude we are alive and in our loved ones arms.

I’m glad you’ve committed the moment to memory and that you’re generous enough to share it with us. :)

    • You have read my mind. LOL. The last picture was actually spontaneous. I was cooking for dinner and Odd, my husband was there to help me. Suddenly, an idea hit me. I told him we should take a photo doing something a bit indecent and he was up for it! Well, he’s always supportive in my crazy antics that’s also one reason why I love him so much.
