My Christmas Laundry List08.12.08

Christmas is around the corner and both my father and Odd were asking me on what I want for this season. So I came up with a list of items that I want but I don’t really need save for a few.

1. Since I gave my digital camera to my mother I have been thinking of getting a new one but in a form of a DSLR camera. I love to take pictures and probably give fashion photography a try. Buying this type of camera is a good investment because I can also use it at school especially on the multimedia classes. Now, I am researching on which camera suits me the best though I am really eyeing this Nikon D90. But I don’t really need this one yet not until I am back at school on fall next year.

2. I got a PSP on my last birthday and now I am using it primarily as an e-book reader and a media player due to lack of games that I really want. Because of that I am wanting to buy this Nintendo DS Lite. This one is not a necessity but I am bored and I need something to amuse myself. So there!

3. The latest 13-inch Macbook! Well I can probably get that on my birthday next year since I still have a functional and a year old laptop. My father usually say that it is good to change laptops or PCs once in every 2 years.

4. I am drooling over this Louis Vuitton Damier Géant Messenger NM bag. It’s just one swipe away but there is still this question of necessity. Hmmmm this one can definitely wait…

5. Cash! Since I can use a part of it to sponsor a child through the World Vision Philippines. For a 7,200 PHP or 150 USD pledge every year you can already send one child to school. In a country like the Philippines where education is not a necessity but a luxury. Poor people can’t afford that and it is sad because education is also their ticket out of poverty and to get better careers in life.

I am already dead set in signing up for this charitable cause but my father told me to wait until I am back home in Norway. Since they will also sponsor a child each or more. Anyway, for those who are interested in sponsoring a child please check the organisation’s website here. Thanks in advance.

So what’s your Christmas laundry list?

That’s all!

You will love the new MacBook, although it’s an upgrade from the previous, an Apple dealer friend told me to wait till next year, there’s a better one coming.

My laundry (funny you say that way) Xmas list is about just keeping it simple … BUY A NEW iMac, hahaha.

Not wanting to sound cheesy, but all I want are to spend it with my baby girl and for my loved ones to be in the best of health!

I only ever use a point and shoot – Casio Exilim Z1050. Its functions are amazing and it’s so easy to use. It’s got 10 megapixels so I’m pleased with that. DSLR’s are so fiddly, but I did give my significant other one and he loves it. So we have the use of both :D

Soon you’ll be wading through snow and that would be a very nice subject!

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comments. Enjoy the week ahead!
