The Queer Chef is here to make your tastebuds cheer!!

Velkommen!

Me and Odd

Charles Ravndal or The Queer Chef is just an average guy from Bergen, Norway. He is a film student and works part-time as a web and graphic designer. He loves to eat but tends to starve lately in order to shed more kilos which is somewhat funny since he is a chef by heart. Food making is his passion though it is somewhat second to his pathetic dreams of stardom and fame. Equipped with the love of his better half, Odd Roald he braves the unfair world with optimism and sheer vibrance.

Still Having The Twilight Fever!

I saw Twilight last Wednesday, Nov. 26 on its premiere here and I watched it again today. I can’t stop giggling just seeing Edward and Bella together on the big screen *swoon*. I can’t really wait for the sequel to come and hope that it would be a lot better transition from book to film. Since I was a bit disappointed over some small stuff but then again it is indeed difficult to turn a 500-paged book into a 2-hour film. Melissa Rosenberg, the screenwriter has done a good job but I felt that she could have done a little bit more. Overall, I had a good experience with the movie and I love to watch it a couple of times. Go Team Edward! Go Team Bella! Go Team Jacob!

Anyway, I have some good news but I am somewhat reluctant to share it unless I can already pinpoint the exact dates. Do you want to guess what it is?

It’s a teen movie, isn’t it? :D I think I’ll give this movie a pass, but look forward to the others when I’m back in Manila! The cinematic experience in Manila is way better than the UK. I’m not gonna guess the good news, as you’ve already told me :)

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comments.

i hear you Charles, after reading the synopsis of this movie, i was like ‘buffy, the vampire slayer’? then again, t’s a horror flick so for me, it’s fun to watch. i just don’ buy sequels movie because we tend to overanalyze and expect more in the next franchise.

It is not really a horror flick but more like vampire romance. The whole story just give me shivers and I want more of it!

    Here’s my review of Twilight.

    http://tanicyte.multiply.com/reviews/item/1

3/5 for the movie. 5+++/5 for casting Robert Pattinson. :) For a cold-skinned vampire, he’s soooo hot! I think they’re going to have to cast a hotter Jacob for New Moon the movie for it to be better than Twilight.

I am going back home finally! I would say it is the best xmas present ever since I miss my father, grandmother and of course Odd. But I think I am spending Christmas here in the Phils. since it is already somewhat hectic to travel during this time. Though I hate it but I just have to bear it a little bit more.

  15. ugh! I do not see how people can eat this tripe up. It is the same love story, but this time with a Mormon vampire twist. This girl is in love with a creep that watches her sleep and controls her life and she just ’swoons’. It is pathetic, oh well to each his/her own.
