The Queer Chef says hi bitch!!

Velkommen!

Me and Odd

Charles Ravndal or The Queer Chef is just an average guy from Bergen, Norway. He is a film student and works part-time as a web and graphic designer. He loves to eat but tends to starve lately in order to shed more kilos which is somewhat funny since he is a chef by heart. Food making is his passion though it is somewhat second to his pathetic dreams of stardom and fame. Equip with the love of his better half, Odd Roald he braves the unfair world with optimism and sheer vibrance.

Rewind, Recaps And The Lot Part 3

Now, this is the last episode of the 3 part mini-series of the things happening around when Odd was here with moi. This is another pictionary which is chronologically in order from the Christmas Eve to Odd’s birthday. Aside from that this is also a Cybercruise post originally created by Lifecruiser. So hope you guys enjoy another tour of my life with Odd and the places that we visited and etc.

Note:
Click on the links to know more about the places and some things shown on the pictures.

Meeting with another blogger from UK, Joy (she is really super!) with her husband Thom on Christmas Eve. It was really nice meeting the two of them.

Odd stabbed the lechon or roasted pig during Christmas Eve dinner.

My two cousins, L-R: Honey and Paula.

Gifts we bought for everyone! We played Santa Claus to almost 20 people. So I guess next time we skip Christmas here and have it in Norway instead. Hahahahah!

Magellan’s Cross brought by Ferdinand Magellan a Portuguese explorer who was in the service of the Spanish crown who discovered Cebu in 1521.

A place in the church where people light candles and offer their prayers.

The Basilica del Santo Niño where the miraculous Santo Niño, patron of Cebu is housed.

The altar area in the basilica.

During Odd’s birthday dinner at home. L-R: Patricia (my cousin), Odd, Presentacion (my grandmother), Me, Paula (another cousin) and Emma (my mother)

Me and Odd.

Odd’s birthday cake.

Odd done with blowing his birthday candles!

Lastly, I also got a lovely award from Joy called You Make My Day Award. I am so touched to receive this and happy to know that my blog also brings happiness to you. A million thanks and a million hugs to you.

The award rules say: “Give the award to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel happy about blogland. Let them know by posting a comment on their blog so they can pass it on. Beware you may get the award several times.”

The problem now here is that all the blogs that I visit always make my day so I dedicate this award to each and everyone who visits my blog and to all my blogger friends out there.

That’s all.

P.S.

Please do visit my new blog called Luminosity. It is a photoblog using only my LG Shine as my camera tool. It is written in both Norwegian and English. Thanks in advance!

Oohhh. Lechon. I find it a little weird, we don’t serve lechon during Christmas Eve because there’s only a handful of us here in our home and for sure, we will not be able to eat the whole lechon. Lol.

Oh, those are Norwegian words in the cake, ayt?

Chase, I was talking about how fluent your Norwegian is! Do be able to put together a whole blog in that language. That is so absolutely cool!

I have been thinking of putting together a blog in 100% tagalog so that I can learn more on how to be fluent at it. But since it’s virtually non-existent, *my cebuano is better than my tagalog* I scrapped the idea.

Too much work. Makes my head ache :)

I’m so, so bad at it.
