December is already here and soon Odd will be here to join me for Christmas and New Year. Despite all these excitements I am pretty much worried about him since his mobile phone and laptop were stolen by a bunch of Polish or east European thieves. First was the mobile phone while Odd was working in a store then the laptop when he was on a train back to Bergen from Drammen where he attended his grandfather’s funeral. It is quite a tragedy especially that he also lost his grandfather and it pains me that I am not there to help or comfort him. I wasn’t able to sleep just thinking about him.
Good thing is that I have an extra PC at home so my father will just deliver it to him and it so happens that his laptop is actually insured. Thank God for insurances!!! And dearest Odd if you are reading this here is a song for you which is the Swedish version (since there is no Norwegian version and we do understand Swedish so it is no biggie) of You Are The Music In Me of Highschool Musical 2.

I really like it when Christmas is around the corner because it is usually the time where we spend unreasonably to get the things we really want or to give to the people that are dear to us. In my case all I really wanted is to spend Christmas with my father Børre and grandmother Sunniva then New Year with Odd and his family. And of course this lovely phone that I am obsessing with for months. It is called the LG Shine.
When it comes to gadgets and stuff I don’t really need anything except for that phone since I just got a new laptop and other things before I traveled to the Philippines. Also I really need to replace my 2 year old Treo 650 and I still don’t know when the iPhone reaches Norway. *sigh* So here comes the LG Shine in the picture. I just fell inlove with it because of its mirror-like screen aside from the fact that thing is made of metal not plastic as other mobile phones are basically made of. It is a fashion phone with a substance and way better than the famous LG Chocolate.
Lucky for me that my Norwegian father, Børre bought it as my Christmas gift and Odd is taking it with him so I can’t really wait to get my grimey hands on that fabulous phone. Btw, you can read the full review of that phone here.

I am so sorry to hear about Odd’s grandfather’s passing. It is definitely a very, very sad occasion. I remember the day I lost my grandfather too; it was really gloomy and cold. Pero, I believe that Odd is strong having you by his side supporting him all the way.

Dreadful shame about Odd’s mishap, you’d start holding something against the Polish, it seems they are committing crimes all the time over here. The media here is still swamped with the trial of the two Polish youngsters who killed this Belgian young man in the central station about a year ago for his iPod.
