Sorry for the late update because of some unexpected things that’s been happening in my life right now. If you guys remember about my student visa problems, well I got denied albeit with the lawyer’s help. The immigrations dept. is so brutal despite the fact that it was their mistake (lack of information and stuff) in the first place.
So now I am back in the Philippines (since it is also the rule that I must go back to the country of my origin to apply for a new visa if my visa application in Norway has been denied) but my Norwegian father and Odd are now working to get me back to Norway as soon as possible with the help of my lawyer. In addition to the utmost support that Anna and RennyBA offered to me as well. Despite all of these (bad luck hounding me like plague since I started to shift from working to student visa), I think life is still good because of the loving support of my friends and family which I am forever thankful.
Honestly, I wasn’t that sad with the decision from the immigrations dept. since I was prepared for the worst and a bit excited to come back and see the Philippines again (as well as the bloggers there). Though I was wishing that Odd was with me and I really miss both of them alot (My Norwegian father and Odd). But anyway, Odd is going to visit me later around November or December and I heard some of my friends are coming over to see me as well. And yes, our wedding plans is still there and actually now I am looking for wedding rings. I found the perfect pair and now waiting for Odd’s ring measurements. The wedding of course will be in Norway as planned since there is no same sex marriage in the Philippines and the Norwegian embassy here can’t do it as well. I am blissfull that Odd is taking me seriously and there is no guy or man who treated me like that ever! I think I am about to cry right now. LOL!

Anyway, I am taking this as a slightly long vacay since I am positive that I am back home in Norway in less than a year.

Congrats on the wedding plans, I’m so happy for both of you. Shame the Philippines doens’t support same sex weddings, it is OK over here in Belgium, one of my direct reports is a man married to a man. I prefer the second ring, it is a bit like mine. I have a combination of yellow and white gold in a diagonal composition.

Sorry you had to leave Norway this way,, but glad you keep up the good spirit and hope to see you back as soon as possible. It was good to hear your voice when I called you at the airport since you didn’t seams to be too depressed.
Good to know you have your Odd too and that he are coming down to visit to move on with your wedding plans – wish I could go with him to meet you!

Hello Charles, long time no hear, that’s why I was so shocked that it DID happen. So sorry about this mishap but I’m sure that things will fall in their proper places and you’ll be back in Norway in no time (with a wedding in waiting, to boot! the rings look elegant, btw). As you said, take this time as a vacation – and the time to get some lovely tropical tan, too!

Hey Chase. Didn’t realize you are from Cebu! My dad is from there, but I’ve never been there. I hear it’s really beautiful there.
That totally sucks about the immigration stuff in Norway. I hear that happens a lot when you move from a working visa to a student visa. My brother’s girlfriend is from Japan and she’s doing the same thing in December when her working visa expires, so they are expecting that she probably will have to go back to Japan to reapply again.
Well, at least, it gives you a well deserve vacation. And I love the second ring, the thicker one…. Sexy….
