Bi Now, Gay Later.14.09.07

I read this gay magazine here and what caught my attention was this words on the cover: The coming of bisexuals. I learned that most of us are actually bisexuals in nature as what I have read on some scientific magazines or have seen on some documentaries on Discovery or National Geographics channel. Some of us just probably shrugged off these feelings and went on with their heterosexual lives. Some became homosexuals thus the saying bi now, gay later.

Gay Or Not

I used to be confused and for the record I did manage to taste some coochies when I was still 15. After my life in the seminary I transferred to an ordinary highschool where I was kindof embarrassed to talk about my homoerotic past. I was afraid to be branded as gay so I did set my sights towards girls at school. By 17 I discovered chatting and there I met guys older than me. Then I realised it is fun to be with Tom, Dick and Harry and by 21 I confirmed to myself that I am really gay. Yes, details will be revealed on my future entries under the “I Was A Teenage Slut” entries.

Hyakinthos

Anyway, the real story here is that I am irritated to hear that there are some straight acting gay men branding themselves as bisexuals even though they haven’t tasted let alone touch a single vagina. To make matters worst they discriminate other gay guys who are effeminates or trannies which are somewhat the stereotypes of gayhood. I know that some of these straight acting hypocrites don’t want to be labeled as a gay stereotype but calling oneself bisexual doesn’t make sense not to mention delusional.

I never heard of this problem here in Europe but it is quite prevalent in Asian countries. It pains me to think that there is discrimination within the gay community which has also suffered discrimination from some of our heterosexual brethren. Where is the solidarity here? We as gays should stick together. I guess some of them forgot that there is always beauty in diversity.

That’s all.

Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens

And lastly I was quite shocked with the news of Vanessa Hudgens’ nude photos on the net. She did apologised about it and Disney didn’t fire her because let’s face it she is indeed their cash cow. Besides I don’t understand why there are some people making a huge fuss over her naked photos and they are not even salacious. As far as I know, those photos were meant to be private but someone close to her leaked those pictures. It is like Paris Hilton all over again minus the sex tape. Anyway, I still love her and if you are interested to see those photos check it here. By the way, she really needs to shave her beavers!

By the way, what do you think of my blog’s new look?

wow…i like this new look! :)

  2. Well, I think it is no doubt true that there are degrees of everything inside everyone…It’s like a color spectrum….many many colors in the universe….! :)

Explain to me why you think that young woman needs to shave…! She is not a little girl…She is a woman! Women have full “beavers”….!

Hope things are good with you Charles…..You’ve changed your blog desidn, once again, my dear….talk about difersity! (lol)

  3. Rad sier:

I’m bi, I’d say I like girls 60% and men 40%, I don’t talk about it in my blog though, cause my family doesn’t know about it, and I’m just being careful. But I think it’s much different for women to be bi cause we are naturally bisexual, I believe that. A friend told me there’s no such thing as bisexual for males but it feels like double standards so I’m still not sure if I should agree.

But I can relate to what you’re talking about cause a lot of my lesbian friends belittle the butch looking ones.

I forgot that you’re a VH fan, the pictures was shocking but I kinda feel sorry for her. People are slamming her now for it, she didn’t do anything illegal for crying out loud. But if she can go through this phase in her life, she can survive anything.

  4. Chase sier:

    @jase – thank you dear!

@oldoldlady of the hills – hahahha i just got carried away by all those guys commenting about shaving her coochies.

@rad – honestly, those nude photos of hers made her a talk of a town which also a good thing coz it increases rates and publicities

  5. Wind sier:

New look, cool! Quite like the picture of the switch of guy/not guy…

Some guys just like women being shave, which I still can’t totally understand. I mean, it just part of the women’s bodies afterall. Of course, some women don’t mind to shave it, their choice. 8)

  6. Chase sier:

@wind – thank you very much. Yeah I dont understand it as well but there are some people who really want their partners to at least trim their bushy pubic hairs.

  7. Laarni sier:

I’m kinda agree about us being bisexuals in nature because, you know, our parents are both man and woman. Did you get it? lol.

Yeah, vanessa. I’ve seen the photos and saw in the news that she apologized.

  8. Lexie sier:

Well, I believe that everyone is a little bit bisexual as well. I guess that is apparent through the fact that I can appreciate female beauty, but it doesn’t actually go up to the extent of lust. I’m still more attracted to guys.

I don’t think much of the whole Vanessa nude photos thing either. She’s 18 years old and it was done in private. People have this twisted notion that just because she’s from Disney, she has to be a saint.

  9. Chase sier:

    @laarni – lol

@lexie – correct! Britney is from Disney and look at her now.

  10. andianka sier:

hmm… i’ve heard about this bi issues just recently. i know someone who’d really be interested about your point. he’d been talking about it, more like ranting the same thing. nyahahha! and yes, i totally agree with about us all being bi. i too know quite a lot at admiring girls as well. it’s about beauty. but of course im not bi with regards to taking them in bed sort of thing. aheheehe.. however, i have this nonbloggable side that im wondering about. like, getting aroused at reading gay erotic stories (i just spilled the beans, goodness!). yes, im weird.

oh and about vanessa hudgens. people forget that these disney stars aren’t born to stay young. they will in the end have sex, not just this pics. their humans for goodness sake, so making quite a fuss about her is really down right silly! besides, it didn’t look so seductive anyway. kumbaga, plain, naked girl. SO? NO BIG! ehehehhe.. kulit ko ah.

  11. Kyels sier:

I don’t know why everyone is making such a big deal about her naked photos and this proves that you cannot trust people easily. Photos labeled under private, yet they can leak it out to public and be inconsiderate about the feelings of others. This is irritating!

By the way, do you know that Vanessa Hudgens is half-Pinay … It seems that her Mom is of Pilipino, Chinese and Spanish descent … Amazing, diba?

Anyway, about the bisexual and gay issue; it is hard for everyone to come to terms of acceptance because to them being a bi or gay is sinful and out of the norm from those normal people on the streets. I don’t find queer people degrading because I’m bi and I wish everyone would respect the queer folks and not give them a hard time. For those homophobic(s), gays and bisexuals are thrashes of society and should be eliminated but they’ve forgotten than queer folks have rights like them too and most importantly; emotions. However, I’m not totally out to everyone especially my familia because I know they can’t take it … Anyway, bi, gay or heterosexual, we are still humans!

  12. cyberpunk sier:

I guess women are more open to admiring other women physically and sexually. It’s pretty natural to hear women say that this girl is pretty/sexy/hot…while men do not openly acknowledge other men…

as for bis…it seems that lately, they’re all over the place…and i’ve talked to some men who call themselves straight but have sex with other men for fun…i don’t get it…doesn’t voluntarily having sex with your male buddies automatically make you either bi or gay, and not straight?

  13. Kisane sier:

I like the clean white look but your banner is way too serious for you!

So far, my gay friends here in Singapore are either one or the other. Despite the govt not being very tolerant of homosexuality and with draconian laws that make oral sex illegal(!) AND a very strait-laced Asian society, I’ve not met any who hide it or say they are bi. But it is a shame for someone to declare what they are not, just for acceptance. That has a lot to say about society then about that person.

  14. Chase sier:

@andianka – amen to that sister!

@kyels – yup I know that she is half Pinoy. Recently there are lots of half Filipinos in the Hollywood scene.

@cyberpunk – you can’t call someone straight if he or she is fooling around with same sex.

@kisane – true it is way too serious for me but I just like the clean look of the blog now. I will do something with the banner later.

  15. tina sier:

i have come to accept people as they are…

mhmm i havent heard about the vanessa issue.. guess im not that updated anymore.. :)

  16. K sier:

We assume everyon’s gay until proven otherwise.

But as for Hudgens, those bushes looks poised – I’d prefer that than a woman with a hairy armpit. Come over here, you’ll see some of them parading in the mall in a big LV bags. 0==(D)

  17. Juice sier:

I love the beaver phrase!! Hahaha totally cracked me up!

On the main topic, well I agree all about what you said. It’s all about the choice and it sucks that people brand themselves as bi even though they haven’t even gotten a lil sum sum from all the dimsum.

I guess it’s all about the culture. You know a large percentage of Asians aren’t always open-minded so the ones who are closeted hide themselves and they get away with being extreme conformists.

  18. Helga sier:

I like the new look, darling. Sleekness.

As for gay guys calling themselves bi…well, I might be wrong, but bi is gay, so what’s the diff? I have a gay friend who says he’s bi, and well… he really IS bi, but he doesnt hide his preference for men. Egh, not making sense.

As for the VH noodzikal. I think she looked super sweet in her photos. The mancandy insists I look like her haha. And yesss, she needs to shave down there.

  19. CM sier:

I think it’s not really about being heterosexual or not. As long as you respect other people and not doing anything wrong to them, then that is all what matters.

  20. cheh sier:

Loved the feel of your new theme chase! very neat easy on the eyes!:)
Some men aren’t comfortable being labeled as gay although things falling out from their mouth are full of one! Bunch of hypocrites indeed!

As for Ms. Hudgens, poor thing!

  21. Thess sier:

People just need to be who they really are. I think what’s more painful are those men who don’t want to be ‘labeled’ for what they really are that they even get married and have children, thus in the end throwing everything away because the truth does always come out.

anyway this is a good entry, Chase. Have a good weekend, dear!!

and btw, I like this simple and easy to browse theme.

  22. Beng sier:

awesome new skin, suits you better sweety :)

  23. Chase sier:

    @tina – same here dear.

@k – eewww. I don’t really like to see girls sporting a bushy armpits.

@helga – thank you dear. Well being bisexual means you have sex with both gender. But I mean if you are strictly going out on the same gender then you dont belong in that category.

    @cm – correct!

@cheh – thank you ate! Yeah poor Ms. Hudgens indeed!

@thess – thank you and correct that the truth always prevail!

@beng – thank you ate beng!

  24. Kiks sier:

this bi thing has been all over the gay circuit in manila. while i have bi friends who are mostly women, one rarely finds a man who is truly bi. you’re right, they’ll be gay in a little while later.

as for vanessa, she reminded me so much of… was it… jessica rabbit?

and the look’s fantab. so pristine.

(i think i’ll be coming more often)

  25. vk sier:

    hi chase,

Your new blog look, i like it, nice for my eyes, lalo na madali akong maduling…..lol

sigi, have a nice weekend there, dito sa amin, ito malamig na….siguro mas lalo na dyan sa inyo ano?
    autumn begin next weekend pa……

    bye and tc there.

  26. RennyBA sier:

Why do we have to put everyone in the same basked. Guy or not, they are humans to me and besides; you are one of my best blogger friends. So why focus on their sexuality which is a private matter?

  27. aCey sier:

hi, chase! the naded vanessa pic also shocked me… my kid sister was the 1 who told me. she used to like her, no i dont know… hahaha… private photos are supposed to be private diba? :) so whoever spread those pics… :dizzy:

  28. j3 sier:

hmmm…i like the old look. unless you graduated from the graphic-edgy designer that i think you are and is more likely on the serious side of most things, then this could reflect you now. But then again, i like the old look! :-D

about the post…ehhh…bisexuality is indeed true but saying that your bisexual where in fact your (really) gay (inside, not to mention if it emanates from your actions)is totally absurd.

  29. pieterbie sier:

I don’t think she had to shave, she can do with her pubes what she likes as far as I’m concerned.
I think this whole crap about gays pretending to be bi is just stupid, invented by morons who cannot think of a better way to sell their product. As far as I’m concerned you are what you are, there is no reason to change, and you are only you if you stay true to yourself and your principles. I mean how can you have fun in life when you are living a lie?
    Am I making any sense?
    No?
    OK, I’m out of here.

  30. pieterbie sier:

BTW who is this Vanessa chick, apart from q good looking Disney chick in need of a beaver shave?
The photo’s aren’t that good, she had red eyes in one of them.

  31. Shosh sier:

LOL. I don’t understand about the bi and gay thing. I thought you’re gay if you sexually touch people of same sex as you.

I like your new template, very classy! I wish I have the ability to build template from scratch.

  32. bryan sier:

ay! we can’t wait on your “i was a teenage slut” series…

as for the much needed solidarity sa gay community, minsan kasalanan ng mga closet queens yan…

  33. Chase sier:

@kiks – welcome and nice of you to drop by here!

@vk – oh it’s a bit cold here as well. Winter is slowly approaching!

@rennyba – true but their are some people who always makes a fuss over it.

@acey – well I still love her no matter what lol!

@j3 -well I think I just need a change. I am a minimalistic person to be honest and looking at my previous blog look makes me realised that it was a bit cluttered so I really need to change it into something sleek and clean.

@pieterbie – Vanessa is the singer/actress behind High School Musical. She took those photos by herself but someone she trusted broke her trust by spreading these pictures around.

@shosh – Being gay is that strictly you only have sexual attraction to the same sex while being bisexual is that you are attracted to both gender. Sometimes being a bisexual is like a first step to gaydom!

@bryan – correct! You can check my previous teenage slut entries on the confessions section up on the menu

  34. Nan sier:

I think the new layout is too anonymous compared to the person behind it ;) The blog is good as always though.

  35. Claudie sier:

Difficult to give you an opinion because I live just in my little world very protected! I’m a little wild. But just I think is that we are all humen and we choose our style of life : this wich give you the most satisfaction. Some people have ideas very strengh of life and they would want to impose them to the other. No question to abdict!

  36. joy sier:

There is no doubt about it – we are all born with a certain amount of yin and yang, which makes it totally natural and possible for us to be attracted to both genders. As we grow old, we simply make a choice – opposite, both or same.

    joy

  37. SexyMom sier:

as to vanessa, i don’t know what to say. she is responsible for her actions, it’s just that she has a fan base of very young people.

  38. iskoo sier:

ayos picture ni vanessa, ipinasa ko rin links sa friends ko..

  39. Lyka Bergen sier:

The picture of the angel and the hunk caught my attention. If I am not mistaken, it was probably an artist’s interpretation of the Sodom and Gomorrah’s people thoughts and verbalization of having sex and sodomizing the Angels in the book of Genesis. It doesnt say if the Angels were male or female. The book doesnt mention they were asexuals either. This might led to the thought that most of the Sodomites were either Gay or Bi. Hmmmm….

    Your new blog look: REFINED.

  40. iska sier:

    i like the new look!
sometimes i think i am bi! nakupo… hahahaha

  41. Toe sier:

Your new blog design is really spiffy. I like it. Very interesting how your sexuality evolved Chase…. will wait for the continuation.

Oh, I didn’t know that bis discriminated and consider themselves better than other homosexuals. Maybe, they’re just insecure or something. I don’t approve of discrimination either from straights, from homosexuals, or bisexuals.

  42. scart sier:

I saw the pic of vanessa naked and it’s all topless. In the first place she shouldnt think of taking herself naked to think that she is celebrity. Maybe she like it

  43. Mark sier:

That is so typical in Manila chatrooms. Hate it! When I chat with guys barking they’re bi, I ask them if they have sex with girls, but they don’t. So where’s the bisexuality in that?

Love the new look, so clean and sleek. Btw, finally moved to Wordpress. :)

  44. sasha sier:

I miss the splash of colors, Chase… but the new look is neat and spacious :)

Yes, I heard of that as well.. that most people are actually bisexual by nature. Kaya siguro some women have crushes on the same sex pero they think of it as admiring the girl and wanting to be like her ;)

Late ako ngaun, Chase… next time mauna na ako hehee

    Take care always! Mwah!

  45. Sidney sier:

We were born naked so where is the problem?

  46. i was about to blog with the same topic..

    hayy…

  47. Talamasca sier:

Interesting editorial. I guess these self-proclaimed bisexuals just don’t wanna be stereotyped and shit. Hard for ‘em to be some kind of laughing stock. BTW, I love that on-off switch photo. Makes the topic more surreal. Kudos.

What happened to your customized template? Is this a temporary thing or something?

But yey for gravatar! Kbyenow. 8)

  48. Chase sier:

@nan – true but I just need some change. And I like this one now serious looking but actually not.

    @claudie – very much true.

    @joy – correct!

@sexymom – true but she didnt mean to post it online since it was stated that the said pictures were meant for private purposes.

    @iskoo – lol!

  49. Chase sier:

@lyka bergen – it is actually a painting from ancient Greece. It is a picture of Zephyrous and Hyakinthos . Regarding the template, yup a refined slut!

@iska – thank you very much!

@toe – thank and yes even now I am still puzzled about some bis’ attitude towards gays.

@scart – well as I said before the picture wasn’t meant for public view but somebody leaked it.

@mark – cool I am going to check it out!

@sasha – it is okay ms. sasha I know you are a busy career woman!

    @sidney – well said!

@kingdaddy – I so agree that most of them are just confused.

@talamasca – this is a customised template but minus the colours and all. I just want it clean coz I felt that the last one was a bit crowded.

  50. Pogi sier:

Waaahhh, your new layout looks sleek!! Very nice!

And butter my muffin is back! XD

  51. iRonnie sier:

hi charles i konw you are busy but if ever you could find time, maybe you could participate in this tag i call Desktop Free View. thanks!

  52. Tani sier:

Love the new look. Sleek and clean. :)
I too hate those straight-acting gay hypocrites. I know of a lot. I even quarrelled with two such types. They’re sanctimonious bast…s who think they’re better than others. Frankly, they’re misguided and maladjusted people who pretend they like women when in fact they treat them (and gays) without respect. :x

  53. Tani sier:

Haven’t come across any of those Vanessa Ann Hudgens naked photos. But if they were leaked out of spite by somebody close to her, that’s sad. About Paris Hilton, I saw the video and she was looking at the camera. I must say she was performing not only for the guy and herself but for others as well.

  54. iRonnie sier:

i am disappointed with vanessa. she can pose anyway she likes but she should have done her best effort to keep things private. you can’t really expect actors to be like the character they are acting. i am not so sure if i could still boast of her being half filipino. hahaha!

btw, this is a good theme but i like your former theme better. that was so you. hehe.

  55. I don’t care what sexuality people have – as long as I can be as I like to be myself :-) I do think though, that one should be true against one self at least. To be honest is a good quality. And to support each other as human beings.

I don’t understand though what’s all the fuss is about her being nude. Isn’t we all created nude. We have seen enough nudity to be use to it by now, what’s the big deal? Why hang out someone for something that wasn’t even supposed to have been public? sounds like some one want to have a revenge on her, or is envious enough to do such thing. Childish.

  56. Ed sier:

Hey Lil Bro’ loving the new design. I am so gay I can’t understand how a gay man can have sex with a female, Ewww!!!!There are many though who have children. They seem to pretend to be straight long enough to have children then they divorce and find a man leaving the female devastated.

  57. tin-tin sier:

    a new template again :)

i’ll just comment about vanessa, of course they’re making a big deal out of it. people would try something dirty or not nice about a person

  58. fruityoaty sier:

I like your new layout. It’s nice… uncluttered.

In university, I had a phase where I thought I might be bisexual until I realized without a doubt that I was a raging heterosexual. Eh, to each his own. I always say, sexuality is fluid.

  59. sardonicnell sier:

i think this is a new trend. but you know what? at one time they have to decide which road to choose. as for stereotyping, that’s the way it’s always been and always will be. you either shrug it off or shove up your fist up their ass to shut them up. hahahah!

i like the new look and your entries. good luck to you!

  60. Felisa sier:

I am a excessively heterosexual. lol. But to each his own ;)
I have a guy cousin though and he doesn’t believe in bisexuality — he thinks you’re either straight or gay. Maybe in a way, he is right. I don’t know…

As for Vanessa Anne Hudgens, I was a bit shocked, too! But then again, she is NOT Gabriella. She’s just another teenage girl with raging hormones. lol!

And I love the new layout. Very basic and easy on the eyes.

  61. Felisa sier:

I don’t mean to double post but I totally meant that I am excessively heterosexual. I just wanted to correct myself :D

And as for my guy cousin, I meant to type “gay”!

  62. Wind sier:

hey, haven’t heard from you for a while so just want to drop by and say: have a nice weekend chase – and whatever you are doing, it will go to your way eventually! :)

  63. evi sier:

you are absolutely right. you have to be true to yourself for you to be able to love thyself. take for instance Rustom Padilla. Had he not admitted to be gay, he would still feel imprisoned today.

  64. Evol Kween sier:

Lovin the new look blog! And I’ve worked out how to leave comments again! Like, how totally stoopid am I? Duh!

  65. sasha sier:

Hey Chase! I just want to say hi and have a great week ahead :)

  66. DP sier:

Coming out of the gays – My sister just came out this year, well early this year. Although I already knew she was gay before then, I was the first one she told in the family. She feared rejection from the family but said she felt safe with me.

There will always be discrimination as long as we humans exist. We are all weak and up to some point, this (or these) weakness/es catch up on us.

As for nudity, I am with you. I don’t understand why people make such a fuss about this? Well, I don’t like moralistic people. Never did. This is just like that Clearasil ad in the US that sent chaos within the unyielding high-minded holier-than-thou community.

  67. cyn sier:

you said ” tasted coochies ” oh good lawd! ! hahaha.

  68. rOckY sier:

I will never understand how the whole misconception of what makes a guy bisexual continues on here in the Philippines in probably in a few other Asian countries for all I know. I mean come on, I don’t think most queers are ever going to get into seafood anytime soon and yet they continue to associate with the label if only to pretend to be more discrete and straight-acting that way. Ironically enough, most of the guys that I meet who claim to be bi tend to be queenier than most guys I know who are proud enough (and sensible enough) to say they’re gay.

I guess the world is just weird that way.
