Memoirs Of A Camwhore and Sponsor A Film 2 *Updated*

[There was a slight problem with the submit button on my commenting system earlier but is now fixed. The cause was due to this sponsor button that I posted on this entry but I took it off now and placed it on the sidebar. Sorry for the inconveniences.]We are bless with a lovely weather and it will last throughout the weekend according to the weather forecast. I don’t usually pay attention to weather reports before being from a tropical country. The only thing you have to look out for are the monsoons and seasonal typhoons but the rest is boringly sunny. Living here in Norway changed my attitude towards weather forecasts or news. Being that the weather here is so unpredictable and you need to pay closer attention in order to be fashionably prepared.

With a lovely weather we have now, I indulge myself with long walks around the city of Bergen. Checking some nifty stores as well as buying something for my recent The Comment Whore winners.

The Comment Whore prizes ready for mailing and a jacket.

I bought Shari something from H&M since I know there is no such store yet in the Philippines. And it is a Scandinavian brand. For K and Vince (previous winner of the Comment Whore but I haven’t got the time to buy his prize, sorry!), I bought them something Norwegian. If you notice the jacket under the packages, I also got it from H&M while buying Shari’s prize. I got tempted and bought it without batting an eyelash.

The long walks around city was rejuvenating enough to awaken my camwhoring spirit.

My traditional pose during my Bend It Like Banana Days.

Feeling model!

Aside from being a camwhore again, I’ve been quite productive lately with my blog. I recently installed Brian’s Threaded Comments and I am satisfied how easy it was to reply to all of my commenters. It works fine with my Wordpress 2.0.10 but I am not yet sure if it works on Wordpress 2.1. It took me almost all night to configure and fit the whole thing in my blog. I’d like to thank K for telling me about this plugin.

So guys what do you think with the new commenting system here? I need your honest opinion1.

Anyway, I am now working as a producer of a horror film which is our project for the finals. This is a big project since it is 40 percent of our total school character. If we flunk on this one might as well jump from a bridge.

Now, we are looking for sponsors. For those who will sponsor us their names will appear on the film credits. The film will be shown here locally and of course on the Net!

Sponsorship ranges from a minimum of 5$ 1$ and above. Just click the button on the sidebar to enter the payment form courtesy of Paypal.

The film’s title is Spøkelset or The Ghost. The manuscript is still in the works but the story revolves around a certain myth. The film borrows some elements from The Sixth Sense, The Grudge, The Ring and Darkwater. English subtitles will be provided once the film is done.

I hope you guys will help me raise some serious dough. Thank you in advance!

Before I will end this post, please take part or contribute on The Queer Chef’s Lexicon.

That’s all for now and I hope you guys have a lovely weekend!

Notes:

1. Even though this is my blog I always consider what my blogger friends and readers have to say.[back]

Chase, looked like you and Odd had a great time! I like the hallway picture
you have…seems like a nice place to walk around and shop.

Oy, I missed the part about winning a price with comment whore…I love
winning prizes…I don’t think I have won anything yet though.

You’re making horror film…I don’t watch them because I can’t make it to
my kitchen alone if I do.

  2. Talamasca sier:

    I couldn’t comment awhile ago. Anyhoo…

OMFG those winners sure are lucky bastards! (6)

Yes, I remember your oh-so provocative yet still breath-of-fresh-air poses during your Bend It days! Thank gawd they’re back with a vengeance!!! 8)

Oh and best of luck on your project! Too bad I ain’t got Paypal. ;(

    • charles sier:

I manage to fix the problem now. It was due to the script on that sponsor button disabling the submit button.

Well you can try on the next Comment Whore coz I am thinking of awarding a one year domain and server subscription.

  3. mats sier:

I missed that part! Dayum! *lol*

anyway, look like you and Odd had a great time huh… and i love your BEND IT LIKE BANANA pose. Controversial pose, huh?

i am now looking on your pics… you know why? coz you mentioned that you’re pretty serious about your weight loss agenda… ;)

This box looks a bit different, but then I visit so many blogs and like commenting, and I guess I cannot remember what the previous one looked like. “Butter my muffin” is what I remember, I’m already missing that :-)

Like the camwhore series here, good shots, great setting. You can keep that up as far as I’m concerned, I’m a cam freak, of course.

Good luck with the project, sounds pretty important for your finals.
Don’t jump off a bridge, unless you do it in a horrific way.

  5. Natasha sier:

Totally loving the camera whoreness x)

I wish it was sunny here, but no.. it has to snow.. in April. I feel like I live in Alaska in stead of Maine x/

Goodluck on your Horrorfilm, I can’t wait to see it!

Oooh nevermind the presents, I just love getting mail haha.

  6. Gee sier:

I don’t watch horror movies…once your effin kids become teens your horror becomes reality, LOL!

  7. K sier:

Looking forward to wear that Scandinavian gift (or gifts?) Charles. Thanks. And yes, the commenting looks so COOL, it works fine in all types of Browsers. It will shoo spammers away before they can ‘penetrate’ your admin-comment even if you don’t use the word verification thingie.

Last night I tried signing up to a WiFi service near my flat and I tried to use the paypal, it din’t work. So I can’t share my $5 for your project as much as I’d like to. Seriously.

And YEAHHH, the ‘good ol’ Charlie’ days - photoriffic!

    • charles sier:

I am happy that you really like the new commenting system. I checked it also from other browsers except for Safari but now thanks that it works there as well.

  8. Ann sier:

In the Phil, all you need is an umbrella and you can pretty much weather (pun not intended) anything.

The first pic is ;) And I can’t wait for your film, I loved the last one.

I used to have Brian’s Threaded Comments installed but I didn’t like the amount of JavaScript required. Besides that it is a awesome script and Brian is Danish so woo ho.

Lucky Shari! I can’t beleive they don’t have a H&M - without those pretty much all of us up here would be naked.
